The Cubs were rather delighted by Akela’s military surplus field telephones on Wednesday, so by popular request, here’s how to find them.

I bought mine from eBay, where they can be found by searching for “PYE field telephone”.

You’ll also need some two-core “bell wire” or “speaker wire”, obtainable from places like Maplin, or online at places like Hindleys.com (who are also a great supplier of other craft materials and tools).
